Secure an exam in TOA

This article describes how to secure an exam with Schoolyear in TOA through the integration.

Please note: TOA makes a distinction in the menu between 'Tests' and 'Exams'. 'Tests' and 'Exams' are set up in the same way and have the same functionalities. Wherever 'Exams' is mentioned in these instructions, you should also read 'Tests'.

Step-by-step

1. Log in to TOA.                                                                                                                                                 
2. Go to the menu on the left and select 'Exams' and then 'Set up'. Create an exam here. Navigate to 'View selection' and then to 'Prepare exam'.                                                                                                                                             
3. You are now on the 'Exams: Get ready' page. Scroll down to 'Secure digital exams with Schoolyear'.                                                                                                                                                                  
4. Check the box 'Protect exams with Schoolyear'. Note: You can only prepare an exam with Schoolyear if you give the exam a release period. It is possible to change the period later.           
      
5. In the menu on the left, under 'Tests', you will find the 'Schoolyear management' tab. Here you will find an overview of the tests that have been started, but not yet assessed. Through the button 'Go to dashboard' behind the test it is possible to open the corresponding Schoolyear dashboard.
