Securing an Assessment in Cirrus Assessment

Schoolyear integrates seamlessly with Cirrus Assessment, allowing you to easily secure assessments. This article describes how to secure an assessment with Schoolyear in Cirrus Assessment. This article assumes that you have already linked the integration. If not, please follow these instructions first: Step 2 - Linking assessment applications.

Step-by-step plan:

  1. Log in to Cirrus Assessment
  2. Create an assessment or navigate to an existing one.
  3. Go to the settings of the assessment and activate Schoolyear under security.

     
  4. Create an assessment session and select a time window. An assessment moment will automatically be created in Schoolyear.

     
     

  5. Schoolyear is now enabled for this session and students can only access the content within the assessment. Want to change settings? Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Settings for Schoolyear secure exam environment" to open the Schoolyear settings widget.
