Problem description / symptom: Schoolyear cannot be started, even though it has already been installed.
After downloading and installing Schoolyear, the application must be started according to the steps displayed on screen. In some cases, however, the Schoolyear environment does not start and the student remains stuck on one of the two error messages below, even if Schoolyear has been installed.
No app is set to open the URL '...'.
You cannot use this version of the Schoolyear Exams app with this version of macOS.
Cause: your macOS version is not supported by Schoolyear
Schoolyear only supports macOS versions that are still actively maintained by Apple. If you start Schoolyear with an unsupported macOS version, one of the error messages above will appear.
