Audit logs are stored in the Schoolyear admin console. This gives admins the ability to see which changes have been made in Schoolyear. The audit logs can be found by following these steps:
- Log in to the Schoolyear Dashboard > Click on your name in the top right > select Admin Console > select Audit logs.
What do the different columns mean?
-
Time: This refers to the time range in which the action took place.
- You can filter by a relative time range. This shows you all actions that took place in the last 1, 6, 12, or 24 hours.
- You can filter by an absolute time range. This allows you to search for logs within a specific time frame. Schoolyear only shows logs from the past 2 months.
-
Actor: This refers to the person who performed the action.
- You can search by the person's name or by the ActorID to see all actions performed by a user. An Actor can also be an API key that is active.
- Target: This refers to the location where the action/change took place. This can be a specific test, an action on the Schoolyear environment (tenant), or a user, in the case of a login.
- Action: This refers to the action that has been logged. These can be any actions you can perform in the Schoolyear dashboard — such as logging in to the Schoolyear dashboard or creating/modifying a test.
