Audit logs are stored in the Schoolyear admin console. This allows admins to see which changes have taken place in Schoolyear. The audit logs can be found by following these steps:
- Log in to the Schoolyear Dashboard.
- Click your name in the top right and open the admin console.
- Click Audit logs in the navigation bar on the left.
What do the columns in the audit logs mean?
| Time | This refers to the time range in which the action took place. You can filter by a relative time range (the last 1, 6, 12 or 24 hours) or an absolute time range. This allows you to search for logs within a specific timeframe. |
| Actor | This refers to the person who performed the action. You can search here by the person's name or by the ActorID to see all actions performed by a user. An Actor can also be an active API key. |
| Target | This refers to the place where the action/change took place. This could be a specific test, an action in the Schoolyear environment (tenant) or a user, if they are logged in. |
| Action | This refers to the action that was logged. These can be any actions that you can perform in the Schoolyear dashboard. For example, logging in to the Schoolyear dashboard or creating/changing a test. |
Schoolyear only displays logs from the past 2 months.
