To connect Remindo and Schoolyear you need to create Schoolyear API keys first. The Remindo Add-on in Schoolyear allows you to create API keys for all exam suppliers within your institution that use Remindo environment. Examples of exam suppliers are: ESS, SPL, RemindoToets, Stem, SoesV, Visavi, Coöperatie Examens MBO (mathematics exams), etc.
Please note: For every exam account used within your institution, you need to create separate API keys via the Remindo Add-on. So you cannot use API keys for multiple exam suppliers at the same time.
Step-by-step
Please note: you need admin rights in Schoolyear to execute the actions below.
- Go to Schoolyear.com and click 'Log in'.
- Go to the profile icon at the top right and choose 'Admin console', then click 'Add-ons' in the left menu bar.
- Choose 'add' and click 'Remindo'.
- Enter the name for the tile that will appear in the Schoolyear dashboard, and add the URL of the exam account where students will log in for their exam.
- Click 'next' to continue. This page shows the generated API keys. Enter the API keys via the ICT administrator account of the exam account (this can be done via management > integrations > Schoolyear). For some exam accounts you are not able to enter the API keys by yourself. Contact the exam supplier so that they can add the keys to your account.
- After adding the API keys to your account, the integration is completed and ready to use. Give it try!
