Sometimes students (especially international students) bring a laptop that meets the Schoolyear computer requirements, but their laptop has different keyboard settings than the standard laptops in the Netherlands. Fortunately, multiple possibilities are available to adjust the keyboard settings during a Schoolyear exam.
Step-by-step (Windows 10 + Windows 11)
Optie 1:
- In the Schoolyear toolbar, you will see a keyboard icon.
- Select which language you wan tot use.
- You can now continue with your exam
Option 2:
- Use the key combination 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'Del'
- Click Lock
- Use the key combination of 'Windows icon' + 'space'.
- Click on the language on the right bottom corner of the screen
- A menu will open. In this menu you can adjust the language and/or the type of keyboard.
- You can now continue with your exam
Step-by-step (macOS)
Note: this option only applies when multiple keyboards
are installed on your MacOS.
- Use the
icon on your keyboard to switch between keyboard layout. - A small icon appears that indicates you have switched between keyboard layouts.
