How can I stay up to date with developments?

Schoolyear's products are continuously being developed. To stay up to date with all developments as a user, you can set your notification preferences. Notifications are sent in the form of emails, and you can select your preferences for your own profile. 

How do I set my notification preferences?

You can choose which notifications you want to receive by following the instructions below: 

  1. Click on your name in the top right > select Notification preferences.


     
  2. Select your preferred language. You will receive all topics available in this language in your preferred language. 
     
  3. Select the subscriptions you wish to subscribe to.
     
  4. Click Save preferences in the top right. 

What subscriptions are available?

The following subscriptions are available: 

Subscription Description Available language
AVD Release Notes
  • Developments and important matters concerning Schoolyear AVD are shared here. 
  • These topics are mainly of interest to users with the role of Admin or AVD admin. 
  • Examples include emails about the version of the Schoolyear AVD add-on. 
 English
Client Release Notes
  • Developments and important matters concerning the Safe Exam Workspace are shared here. 
  • These topics are mainly of interest to users with the role of Admin and/or IT staff responsible for packaging the Schoolyear client on managed PCs.  
  • Examples include the monthly client release notes, in which changes for end users are announced.

General Newsletter
  • Generic product and market developments are shared here. 
  • These topics are of interest to every user. 
  • Examples include introductions to new Schoolyear products.

Privacy & Security Updates
  • Developments concerning Privacy & Security are shared here. 
  • These topics are mainly of interest to contract owners and Privacy & Security officers. 
  • Examples include emails about changes to the data processing agreement.

PLEASE NOTE: To receive notifications about outages, you must subscribe via https://status.schoolyear.com. This cannot be done via this menu.
