How can I stay informed about developments?

The products of Schoolyear are continuously being developed. To keep all users informed about all developments, you can set notification preferences. Notifications are sent in the form of emails and you can select your preferences for your own profile. You do this by following these instructions: 

  • Click on your name in the top right > select Notifications

Preferred language

In this menu, you can set the default language of your notifications. All notifications available in this language will be received in this preferred language. 

Note: some topics are only available in English. 

 

Subscriptions

In this menu, you can select which subscriptions you wish to sign up for. The following subscriptions are available:

AVD Release Notes
  • Here developments and important matters regarding Schoolyear AVD are shared. 
  • These topics are mainly interesting for users with the role Admin or AVD-admin. 
  • Examples include emails about versions of the Schoolyear AVD add-on. 
 English
Client Release Notes
  • Here developments and important matters regarding the Safe Exam Workspace are shared. 
  • These topics are mainly interesting for users with the role Admin and/or IT staff responsible for packaging the Schoolyear client on managed PCs. 
  • Examples include the monthly client release notes announcing changes for end users. 
 Dutch / English
General Newsletter
  • Here generic product and market developments are shared. 
  • These topics are interesting for every user. 
  • Examples include introductions of new Schoolyear products.

Privacy & Security Updates
  • Here developments concerning Privacy & Security are shared. 
  • These topics are mainly interesting for contract owners and Privacy & Security officers. 
  • Examples include emails about changes to the data processing agreement.

NOTE: To receive notifications about outages, you must subscribe via https://status.schoolyear.com. It is not possible to do this via this menu.
