Export submissions from the Schoolyear dashboard and access back-up files after a Secure Apps exam

When taking a test with Secure Apps, the files used during the exam can be submitted in various ways. This can happen within the Testing Application, or you can directly have it submitted to the Schoolyear dashboard.

Note: If you want to do this via the Schoolyear dashboard, don't forget to activate this setting in the settings widget. Learn more about how to do this here.

 

Retrieve files per student from the Schoolyear Dashboard.

If the files are allowed to be submitted to Schoolyear, these can be retrieved from the dashboard for each student. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Schoolyear dashboard of the respective exam.
  2. Open the logbook of the desired student by clicking on the student's name on the left panel.
  3. Click on the paperclip icon in the top right corner or click on the 3 dots and then select "download this students' submissions".
  4. Click "download" in the pop-up that appears.

Retrieve Files in Bulk from the Schoolyear Dashboard.

If the files can be submitted to Schoolyear, they can be retrieved in bulk from the dashboard. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Schoolyear dashboard of the respective exam.
  2. Click on "All Submissions" in the top right corner.
  3. Click "download" in the pop-up that appears.
  4. The files will now be downloaded in a ZIP format. Folders will be created for each student. In every student folder, all files that the student submitted during the exam will be visible.

Access Backup Files

In the event that a student forgets to submit the files during the exam, there's an option to export the used files. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Schoolyear dashboard of the respective exam.
  2. Open the logbook of the desired student by clicking on the student's name in the left panel.
  3. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner and select "backup files".
  4. A pop-up will be open where you can browser the file folder of the Secure Apps session. You can download the desired file here.

Note: Backup files are only available for a limited time in the Schoolyear dashboard.
