Schoolyear offers a seamless integration with Blackboard, allowing you to secure your tests with ease. This guide will walk you through the process of installing and configuring the Schoolyear integration in your Blackboard instance.
Step by step guide:
Step 1: Navigate to the admin console of Schoolyear
- Go to the admin console and open the add-ons.
- Click on "add" and select the Blackboard Add-on
- Follow the displayed instructions on the screen.
[Optional*] Step 2: Add your SSO-login page to the global whitelist in the admin console
- Collect all the login URLs.
- Note: If you are using Microsoft, it could look something like this https://login.microsoftonline.com
- Note: It could be that multiple URLs are required and this varies per institution.
- Go to the admin console and navigate to organization settings.
- Go to global whitelist and add the URL here.
- Click Save.
*this step is only required if you use SSO for students to login to your Blackboard environment. These URLs are blocked by default as Schoolyear does not know these URLs.
